Clutch City Cluckers is a Nashville-style-inspired hot chicken restaurant and food truck chain based in Houston, Texas. The brand serves some of Texas’s finest hot chicken sandwiches, cheese-topped hot chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, loaded fries, and much more. The brand was founded as part of its founder, Ahmad Kilani’s, mission to give back to Houston—the city he credits with giving his career a major boost. The “Clutch City” portion of the name was inspired by the nickname given to the Houston Rockets after they won back-to-back NBA championships in 1994 and 1995.

From one truck to a movement

Ahmad Kilane left Irbid, Jordan for Houston with a Master's to finish and a hunger to feed people the right way. What he built instead was Clutch City Cluckers — halal hot chicken that hits hard and doesn't cut corners.

Had been wanting to try this for a while now! I ordered the cheesy bun sandwich with one tender. I decided to get medium spice to try to see if it was good without having my taste buds fall apart. Overall great sandwich and the idea of nacho cheese goes really well with a chicken sandwich.

Now that’s what I call a chicken sandwich! Had the #1 combo 2 tenders mild. Great flavors and tender juicy chicken. It’s a huge sandwich! I usually find spicy chicken sandwiches get a bit over powering about halfway through. This was fantastic to the last bite. Quick and friendly service.

Let me tell you the pics are NOTHING compared to how great the food really is! It was our first visit and really didn’t know just what to order. Customer service was great, the guy was soo helpful gave us some recommendations for the kids and the best way to get everyone what they wanted.
